Among the Russian companies of identical specialization, Alternativa-M is the only organization that has gained admission to the International Federation of Associations of Private Detectives (IKD).

The top managers of the Holding company have a membership status with the World Association of Detectives (WAD) that brings together 970 most remarkable professionals in the security industry from 80 countries worldwide. The Alternativa-M Holding Company has joined the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and the Global Information Network (GIN).

The Company maintains stable contacts with business agencies from around the world dedicated to security management. The counterparts working with the Holding Company include established western providers of investigative and consulting services, such as Kroll Associates, The Risk Advisory Group, Global Intelligence Network, Bishops, Berry Moorman law firm.

The Company employees are involved in close interaction with international colleagues seeking to generate better solutions to problems inherent in the security and detective services sector, they are regular attendees of conferences and forums sponsored by such international organizations. Under the IKD mandate, Alternativa-M sponsored and conducted the XIV IKD World Congress in Moscow in June, 2001. At the Berlin WAD Conference, President of the Holding Company Sergey Morozov was bestowed an award as the Best Business Security Professional in 2001.

In August, 2002, Moscow won the bid, against many other contenders, for the nomination to be the host of the WAD 79-th Annual Conference scheduled for 2004.

Interacting with Law-Enforcement Agencies

Alternativa-M maintains close ties with the law enforcement agencies and governmental institutions of the Russian Federation.

The Company units provide reinforcement to the power agencies of Russia executing Vortex Anti-Terror, Interception and Metal operations, participate in public order safeguards and crime prevention measures.

Alternativa-M is represented in the official bodies involved in the organizational efforts to coordinate the activities of the law enforcement agencies and non-governmental security providers. The President of the Holding company is Deputy Chairman of the Information Security Commission of the Advisory Council under the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB). He also serves on the Coordinating Board of the Moscow City Department of Internal Affairs (GUVD).

The Company is a member of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the American Chamber of Commerce in Russia.
